Just an odd thought....

Bob Kerrey, after running the New School decides to run for Mayor of New York City against Mike Bloomberg. It works but the race and ultimately the election is a very narrow victory for Kerrey over Bloomberg. Soon though, a small but growing draft movement begins for Mayor Kerrey to run for the Democratic nomination for President in 2008. Soon though this political comeback rekindles some thought into a Presidential run in Kerrey and in 2007, Bob Kerrey Announces his run for the Democratic Nomination. After a tough primary battle, Kerrey wins the Democratic nomination and chooses Senator Russ Feingold as his runningmate.

For the Republicans, frontrunner Rudy Giuliani's lead dwindles overtime as he battles between Romney, the "Comeback Kid" John McCain and the insurgent Huckabee. After a primary battle, Giuliani wins the Republican nomination and would go to choose Texas Governor Rick Perry as his runningmate.

The Tickets:

Democrats
NYC Mayor Bob Kerrey, NY
Sen. Russ Feingold, WI

Republicans
Fmr NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, NY
Gov. Rick Perry, TX

So who wins in this battle of New York Mayors? Discuss, with maps if you wish.
