How many countries have you met people from?

I started counting, and was sort of impressed with myself when the total got to 51.  If you only include people I've talked to more than once or twice, it goes down to 42.  I'm sort of wondering where I fit in here.

The continental breakdown is:
Europe - 21
Asia - 14
Africa - 4
Latin America - 8
US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand - 4

There's no way of telling, but quite a lot.

This...how the hell am I supposed to know or remember?  I'd guess somewhere between 25 and 100.

I took a blank map of the world and started filling it in.  Even then, I later remembered I missed Moldova and Belarus, so I'm up to 53.

Edit: and Thailand -- 54.  Yeah, of course it's impossible to remember all of them.
