How would a 2012 primary look between those three? You can pick what the political climate is like.

Okay, here is my map. Honestly, I'm trying hard not to show bias. There are some states a lot of people would give to Romney, that I gave to Palin or Huckabee.
Ultimately, if all three run, which I highly doubt, Romney would win the delegate count. Palin and Huckabee are polling strong, but the places they are polling well in are in the same areas. Romney's strength's are in different places, places that offer a lot of delegate. The popular vote would be extremely close though...

Blue - Romney
Green - Palin
Red - Huckabee

I really do think that all the three are good candidates.

I expect this from the media, but why do freethinking individuals on this forum constantly have to bring up these same three high-profile losers from the past as if they were the only approved candidates for the 2012 primaries?

Because they are the only three candidates I can see winning the nomination at this point. Granted, there might be someone else by 2012, but we don't know who that is. And if we added someone like...John Thune to the list now, it would be wasted, because no one thinks he is a serious candidate at this point.

And what makes Romney, Palin, and Huckabee "serious"?

Let's also remember that everybody was pulling for Condi Rice vs. Hillary in 2006. Bozo the Clown could be the next Republican nominee for all we know.

That would be a step up for the GOP.

I, too, am wondering what makes a woman who quit before the end of her first term as Governor of Alaska a serious candidate, and, more importantly, why 25% of my party is supporting her to be our nominee for President of the United States.

The media is interested in them, and the electorate thus will vote for them.

Don't you guys get this? Palin is NOT going to run because there is ZERO chance at all she can win. So stop throwing her in the picture. Let's put some people that actually will jump and do decent in there like Pawlenty, maybe Guiliani, Huckabee, Romney, hey maybe even through in Rick and Gary in there too.

Because the bozo leaders of your party, limbaugh and Hannity, keep telling all their listeners that Palin is a great Presidential canidate, and that the media is attacking her because they know she can win.  All of which is false.  I was a Repub last year and I'm telling all of you Republicans that Palin is a joke.  She speaks like a fifth grader, and all her accomplishments have been extravagantly overblown by conservatives.

Alright, I'll play with these three dirtbags, but this map will look drastically different when real options are put on the ballot....

What makes you think that the people, whose ability to make decisions you have repeatedly disparaged, would suddenly decide to switch to your candidate?

I still don't think Palin is competent enough of a candidate to win,

Also, Huckabee opposed TARP

Agreed.  Even if she does run, I could imagine her dropping out around September 2011 when the monthly debates and media scrutiny get to be too much for her again.  Then she'll cash in with another book...."Going Rogue II: Going Roguer".
