I'm not surprised. He was a nanny-statist, too.

He was a far cry from FDR on that subject. Opposed the TVA, wanted to cut many programs and make others much more efficient, and opposed Prohibition in the 1920's.

Well I am glad to see how exlusionist and absolutist your views really are. So making Gov't programs that are unreapable more efficient is against your philosphy, why? Cause it might mean the Gov't can do something right for a change and maybe your little pipe dream will fade more and more from becoming reality.
