The New Jersey gubernatorial contest followed on closely by the NY-23 special election.  With Virginia all bets are off, and the others just don't grab my interest.

You beat me to it. Sure its better than spending a laborious day at school, but the race that stops the nation always brings back horrible memories of 2004: I missed out on $500 bucks because of Zazzman, the horse I expected to place third finished behind him Sad

NJ Gov.

I'm assuming ME Prop1 is gay marriage?  Which the only reason I even know about that is I have a Google alert on "Mark Brewer" because of the political scandal I've been dealing with (apparently he's a poli sci professor in ME as well as the Dem. party chair for MI).

So - it's 2 different people with the same name - just to clarify that.

Maine 1 sounds like it has the most potential to be least depressing

Virginia would yield the most excitement if my side wins, but I'm not going to watch the race because I know it won't.  I mean, I would have liked Risch to lose in 2008 too but I don't even know what his margin of victory was.

I can't get too excited about any of them, although this third party guy having a chance to win in NY is of vague interest.  For some reason though, I tend to find NY politicians in general almost as loathsome as those from my own state, and that is pretty loathsome indeed.
