Franklin Finch, the gadfly Presidential candidate from West Virginia, has been arrested after he apparently attempted to kill veteran CNN journalist Henry Davenport during a live broadcast of Davenport late last night.  State Delegate Finch appeared calm, lucid and rational for the bulk of the interview, but when asked by Davenport to "explain this nonsense about the Anti-Christ", Finch flew into a rage, accusing Davenport of "being an agent of the Anti-Christ", a "Demon" before shouting "now you die, Stavrogin" and repeatedly hitting Davenport with his chair, attempting to strangle him and grabbing Davenport's hairpiece and setting fire to it. Finch was then restrained by security and has since been arrested - and bailed.  Finch has released a statement making it clear that he will remain on the ballot "even if I go to jail" because "the issues are too great, the days are too dark and the Anti-Christ must be defeated. All who disagree will burn in Hell". Voters in Oregon and Kentucky go to the polls tomorrow.
