Fascinating way of doing this, kudos to you, Joe.

Do bonus tokens build on themselves? i.e.: 3 bonus tokens = 1.25^3
Or are they added together? i.e.: 3 bonus tokens = 1.75

The latter.  Bonus tokens and attack tokens are each worth 25%, so if three of them are used at once for example, then they would collectively be worth 75%.

Ok, that's what I thought. Thanks!

Is there any way to "invest" credits in future states now?

Sorry, we're just focusing on one stage at a time.  Smiley

Ok, that's fine.

Tuesday morning actually.  I'll close it as soon after 8.48am Eastern as I'm able to.  Or if every candidate has submitted before then, I'll close it sooner.

Ah, ok.

So, will you designate the color for each candidate on the map for states won as they win, Joe? (Sorry for being so inquisitive)

I hadn't really thought of that.  The current map with Iowa highlighted in green will develop as we progress, but only using shades of green to represent the states we've covered in the past.  I guess as the race develops I could put together a map showing which candidates have won where.

And I don't mind the inquisition.  Smiley

I think it'd be interesting to watch the map fills out as time goes on. Perhaps only give a candidate a color when the win a state, so we don't have a ridiculous amount of colors.

Also, will you make up numbers to go with the percentages, like "Helen Hudson - 45,204 votes in Iowa." Or will you just leave it at percentages?

Also, I expect you to do an in-depth analysis county by county Tongue

When doing polls, remember that every candidate uses one campaign token by default.

Joe, I have a question. When you use attack tokens, does that take 25% away from your score as well, or just the person you are attacking?
Running a negative campaign hurts the candidate running it many times, though not quite as much as it hurts the person they are attacking. I would assume it would hurt you a bit, but Joe gets to make the call.

I think the fact that attack tokens can't be won back is what simulates that effect.

Due to the nature of winner take all I think many without delegates still have a decent chance.

BTW, to those who are losing hope, remember that it would be hard even for the frontrunner to compete in all states in the two Super Tuesday stages.

Third is respectable, though not worth the tokens. Sad

Cough *switches into character* the people of South Carolina have sent a message to the GOP that it must become the party of freedom once more by giving me third place.

Don't support Norton though. I would respect you except that she is a puppet. The reason she is running is so that way she 1) has a title 2) so Owens can go back to Russia and do what he did as Governor with her this time and get deals for himself easier 3) she is a puppet.

I've seen her in forums and debates, everything she has is completely memorized. She looks out into space and her eyes are moving down, back and forth line by line. When she hasn't been told how to answer a questions she always evades it or if that's not possible like a lightening round she copies the guy before her.

She was asked what Committee she'd want to serve on. One word answer really in the lighening round and she replied she'd like to serve on the committee colorado best wants her to serve in. If she hasn't thought about that she isn't in it for the people.

Her answers say I'm running for Miss USA not the US Senate.

Sorry, I know this is outa place but I saw your signature with her sticker on it and thought you'd like to know

Yeah, I prefer Ken Buck to her. Too bad he doesn't seem to have too much money.
