Flashback 15 to 20 years ago.
In 1988- Chuck Robb- a popular former Governor of VA gets elected to the US Senate by a landslide margin. Robb's popularity declines due to scandal- he wins re-election in 1994 with less than 50% of the popular vote in a 3 way race against Ollie North and Marshall Coleman.
In 1993- George Allen-(R) wins the VA Governors race over Mary Sue Terry by a landslide margin. Allen-R won the 2000 VA US Senate Race unseating Chuck Robb-D. Allen loose his Senate Seat in 2006 due to Macaca.
