And, because I'm a look-ahead kinda guy!!

Are there any early takes on Louisiana, Mississippi, and Kentucky Gubernatorial Races in 2011?  Or, will everything wait until the outcome of 2010 is decided first?

I wouldn't be so quick to call it over for Beshear. He's shown himself to be a shrewd political operator, and if the economy improves sufficiently (he's got two whole years), it will probably lift the approval ratings of governors across the country.

Edit: As for the other two, safe R.

I agree.  I haven't been paying much attention to Kentucky, so I could be uninformed.  (I know you guys'll set me straight.)

But from what I recall, Beshear ousted an exceedingly corrupt Republican.  And he's gone about cleaning up the mess.  Not unlike the outstanding job Jodi Rell did in the way of the Rowland fiasco in Connecticut.  Am I offbase here?

What are Beshear's approvals?
