Although I think you're a bastard, I agree that regional seats need to be preserved and we need to further drug legalization. I mean if people are so gungho about eliminating regional seats why the hell do they run for them?

We run for them because they exist. Not running for them would mean that we concede half of the Senate to anti-reformers, which would mean that reform could never be accomplished.

And a supposed "majority" wanted to last year as well, but the RPP came to the rescue then and we'll do so again.  People don't want to see this change for the sake of change and when push comes to shove we'll defeat it again like we did last time

Nice to see how easily you admit that you absolutely don't care of the majority's opinion. At least I applaud your sincerity.
The seats were voted down handily, that certainly shows where majority opinion lies

I don't know how high I will preference you, but it will be miles ahead of Hamilton (if he has the stones to run).  Good luck to you.

Haha, no Hamilton won't be running he'll just keeping feeling important from his Northeast assembly seat that you actually need negative votes not to win.

Thanks of course, and I urge that you look at my strong record on regions which I know you support when preferencing.  You have always been a strong help to the regional fight despite my concern about your executive ablilities

I like how DWTL is basically campaigning on left-wing issues that Yankee opposes, yet somehow thinks they will "kick left-wing ass" together. They are political opposites. In fact, I don't understand a single bit of Yankee's chronically incoherent ideology.

Thats because I don't follow a set ideology but a set of positions on a set of issues.

Only the ideological need to worry about being inconsistant. I am pro-life cause I oppose Abortion and Euthanasia, but I strongly support the Death Penalty. I am for limiting regulation and taxes on business in general but I strongly support regulation and taxation of Tobacco companies and the financial industry. One thing is for sure, I am completely orgininal.

No it isn't. Supporting life for the innocent but not for the criminal is not hypocritical.

Not the way Yankee phrased it. But holding those positions under certain justifications is not hypocritical.

Just taking a break out of studying to say yes, I'll be in the race (and on the ballot!), barring some unforeseen problem that may arise. I will have my own campaign thread, though. Tongue

The votes in December will suggest a different story.  If you want to see someone who no one likes, I suggest you run in December and see where the vote totals are.
