If we ge the 75%/50% I would more than likely support it
67% is more reasonable. If people support this stuff 2-1, the region's will is unequivocally expressed.
Then raise the turnout percentage. What about something like 75% of the average of the number of voters in the last two regularly schedule senate elections?
Quite complicated, and even more draconian.
In fact, the will of 50%
of all citizens
is a sufficient expression of popular will. That means in any case you could never find more people who oppose than people who favor it.
Of course, a simple majority for something so important sets up the potential for a slim majority to exercise power over a large minority.
This is not a simple majority vote.

The point is that the Amendment does not limit the regions' right to chose. If the regions want to change the requirement to alter their Senate seats, they can do it themselves.

I'm not sure if this new tendency to appeal to the apparent inherent evil of Xahar in all things even remotely related to forum policing or this damn game is especially helpful.

No, its caused by a long-standing commitment to maintaining regional senate seats. That is been my foremost priority

Yes for rational reasons, I believe every region deserves a senator, whether you agree with that or not is your perrogative but that has been an accepted position for a long time

Congrats to Duke. I forgot the elections were this weekend, but I have been very busy. Interesting development, but again I was going to resign my seat in February anyway so perhaps it is for the better. As I say quickly Sen. Fritz mentioned and RB said in other words, Atlasia has been destroyed by zombie voters. It was obvious to only myself or Duke could win, but the fact that Mint has so many votes especially right out of the gate is ridiculous.
I'll say what I said on the private forum here in other words:
I do not have the time to compete with Hamilton. I am college and unlike Hamilton have friends and a social life. I cannot monitor who is online, I cannot spend time finding new recruits. The game is going to hell and the RPP members will leave within the next few months and then it will be hilarious to see a game where the JCP wins every election unopposed

How does it feel to have your ass handed to you?
You're right. The RPP will dissolve. But the JCP won't win uncontested all the time. There will be real opposition when you're out of the picture. You're not the only thing that's been standing between the JCP and domination; you're the reason for the JCP domination. People don't like you. People are willing to vote for the JCP over you. But that'll change when you're gone.

Marokai debates rationally and can provide strong arguments. And most important, he's not an arrogant boaster.
