Well:
France:
I've lived and traveled throughout a lot of regions, the parts I know the less are North, North-East, and Brittany (the most i've been there is 1 day in the region of Saint-Malo/Cancale, just after having seen Mont Saint-Michel), the parts I know the most are between La Rochelle and Bordeaux, the Tarn-Aveyron, Limousin (especially Corrèze and Haute-Vienne), the Eure-et Loir and what surrounds it, mostly south-west then, which are parts where I lived and have family. Lived in the south-east too (northern and southern Alpes), but was too small to say i know it well.
Outside of France:
England: spent 3 weeks in Cornwall, could have seen all the south-west of the country by bus, to go there.
Germany/Austria: spent 3 weeks in Southern Bavaria, between München and Austria, during which i several times went in Austrian Tyrol. Biggest cities i've seen have been München and Rosenheim.
Belgium: The school took us to visit European institutions while in high-school, so we did Brussels too, and the day after it we could have enjoyed the rain on Brugge and the charming Flemish bitching on French...
Here is.
