not to mention a Republican: http://home.hamptonroads.com/stories/story.cfm?story=76856&ran=26512

lock the worthless bastard up and throw away the key. Too bad it won't happen to everyone connected with the Nader campaign.

Actually, he's a former Republican turned Green Party candidate.

-----

"Polk, a psychologist, worked on the campaign of state Del. John J. Welch, a Virginia Beach Republican, before leaving the party in 2002 to help organize the Virginia Beach branch of the Green Party."

-----

"Mark McKinney, chairman of the Virginia Beach Republican Party, said that if the allegations against Polk are proven true, “I am certainly glad Polk is no longer affiliated with the Republican Party.”'

Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Republicans switching over to that type of party. It's all the proof we need Nader is a Republican plant. I wonder what Karl Rove told him at their latest meeting.

It seems by far the most likely explanation of Nader.

Well this left-liberal who supported welfare, heavy government regulation on business, and the war on drugs switched to the Libertarian Party earlier this year - sometimes people change their minds, or is that impossible for you to believe? You just don't like Nader - my advice to you is to not vote for him and get over it.

That explanation might be believable if this were an isolated incident, but it's not. there's mountains of evidence of Republican involvement in Nader's campaign, and financial ties to Halliburton.

I'm sure it's part of the secret "Skull and Bones" plot to continue to rule the world; Elvis and the space aliens are in on it, too.  :-)

Do you really think that a man, Nader, who has devoted his life opposing "corporate power" is suddenly going to become a pupet of a corporation?

Yet another example of the loony Left (not that the Right doesn't have it's share too).

.....and financial ties to Halliburton.

Now that is an interesting claim.  Let's do a google search on Halliburton and Nader and see what we come up with:

"Halliburton calls Nader group's statements false"

"Halliburton Co. on Thursday defended its tax practices after Citizensworks, a nonprofit group founded by Ralph Nader, said the company increased the number of units incorporated in other countries to avoid paying taxes while under the helm of Vice President Dick Cheney."

Nader for President website

"What has Tweedledum (Bush) done since his inauguration?  Given billion-dollar no-bid contracts to Cheney's company, Halliburton."

"Nader woos Democrats in Houston"

"Nader said Halliburton is part of a military-industrial complex that is wasting American tax dollars."

Ok, so what do you have that shows Nader is receiving financial backing from Halliburton after Nader constantly talks negatively about them.

Nader's chief in Virginia is not only a criminal (if he indeed is), but a pretty poor campaign manager as well. Nader isn't even on the ballot here.

Nope.  They didn't get enough signatures, but they do have a fairly strong write-in campaign in progress.  I doubt that he'll pull more than 0.5% of the overall vote though.

You obviously know nothing about what Nader has done this election.

At least left-liberals and libertarians agree on half the issues.

hahaha . . . now that is funny.

"Let's not point out all the disenfranchisement the DNC has done against Nader.  Let's spin it and blame it on him instead.  We're just the victims."

hahaha . . . the DNC - the CHAMPIONS of voters rights, except for when they get in the way of them "winning" (loosely used) an election.

Of course Nader's going to bash Halliburton if he wants an ounce of credibility (which is all he has). It still doesn't change the fact he was involved with some of their stocks a couple years ago.
