Hey, was wondering what your take is on what would have happened had ANY of the following scenarios happened? I don't mean if all had happened, but these scenarios are independant of each other. You don't have to answer all

1) Lyndon Johnson runs in 1968, and wins a second term, serving from 1963-1973.

2) No Watergate--Nixon wins in '72, like in real history, and serves until 1977. What would '73 to '77 have been like without Nixon resigning or even being weakened by Watergate?

3) Ford wins the election in 1976--What would '76-'81 have been like?

4) If Carter won re-election and thus served from '77 to '85. Would Reagan have run in 1985? Would he have won? What do you think the economy, domestic and foreign polucy would've been like under a second Carter term?

5) If Reagan had won the nomination and general election in 1976.

and finally

6) If Reagan won in 1980 (and history continued as it did in real life) but lost in 1984 to Mondale.
