favorable/unfavorable #s:

Palin
all voters: 47/42
Republicans: 70/21

Huckabee
all voters: 45/23
Republicans: 63/15

Romney
all voters: 38/27
Republicans: 60/16

Gingrich
all voters: 38/38
Republicans: 58/23

Oprah Winfrey
all voters: 61/26
Democrats: 80/12
Republicans: 46/39
Independents: 55/29

Gingrich has the worst fav/unfav ratio, but that still represents a massive rally from 12 years ago.  Opinion Dynamics polled Gingrich in March 1997, and he was at 19/64.

Also, Huckabee's and Romney's favorable #s are higher than they ever were during the 2008 primaries, and Palin has recovered to where she was before resigning as governor.

That's two recent polls showing Palin with positive favorables. Yuck.

Neither of which are believable.

I wonder what the Obama sludge machine would have in store for her? Compare her running to a "black on black" crime?

Btw, here are overall trendlines on favorability for Huckabee, Palin, and Romney, when you aggregate all pollsters:

It's from the media outlet that serves the GOP much as Pravda served Soviet Commies. Take it for what it's worth, which isn't much.
