Eh... now that I think about it, Google wouldn't be a city.  It's the mythical internet super highway.  It gets you to the large cities like YouTube and Facebook.

The social networking sites are like a giant conurbation.

It began with MySpace; a relatively small town which grew into a huge city, and Facebook; a college town just a few miles away.  Gradually, Facebook developed beyond its college campus into a sprawling suburb, which began to suck most of the life out of the neighboring MySpace city.

These days, MySpace is nothing but a scuzzy downtown area populated by pretentious 'scene' kids like BRTD, and various sex offenders.  Facebook is now much larger, with a demographically broad population.  It has even developed a booming criminal underworld, and has recently incorporated a nearby rural village.

There are also signs that Twitter - another growing town in the area - whose population mainly comprises celebrities, politicians, and other mentally handicapped people from the local hospital, may one day overtake Facebook as the largest urban shithole in the Internet World.

Something out of the French Internet Country, supposed to be 'the capital', but not knowing of it, we, French speaking persons, don't recognize it, of course.

Also, with the Internet, people can have several residencies, some in big cities like Facebook and Twitter, while some in villages like some forums or others. Internet just makes the travel between cities/villages very easy, not to say simultaneous. And yes, I like Google being an highway, an highway that provides you a GPS.

It is a random image board filled with people posting various porn (legal or otherwise), furry porn, dismembered bodies, and racist/sexist humor.  It is basically a juvenile, shock site.    Through all the filth it has spawned many internet phenomena or memes.  A few which are legit. funny and most dreadfully unfunny.
