[This Survivor is about Nobel Peace Prize Winners (NPPW).

It will include
97 NPPW in 3 groups (phase 1), i.e. 32 NPPW in each group (33 in group A), with 22 to eliminate (23 in group A),
then 30 in 1 group (phase 2), i.e. 30 NPPW in the final group, with 29 to eliminate,

The usual rule is to vote for the leader you want to eliminate in each group.
Each round will be open for at least 24 hours, sometimes a bit more, depending on my agenda.
First round will last a bit longer, since I want everyone to have time to read the lists.

There will be some special rules in almost every 3 rounds: immunity, split votes, double votes, etc. It gives no bring back round Wink

I'll warn you about that in this thread and in each specific thread.

I'll vote like anybody, but I won't be authorized to give immunities when they are decided by the first voter.

In case of a tie, the first criteria will be the total of votes received in previous rounds; if there's still a tie, this NPPW is out, who is closer to the present (for example: when the winner of 2005 and 1925 have the same vote and also the same votes in previous rounds, the winner of 2005 is out). It's then still a tie, I decide.

You can EDIT your vote but only for 10 minutes.

Split into three groups for every third year or at least every third candidate on the list - For 1901, where there are two candidates, they should be split into different groups. So Group A would be: Passy. Gobat, Roosevelt, Arnoldson. Group B: Dunant, Cremer, Moneta, Bajer. Group C: Well, I think you get the idea.

I think you're right. It's the best to split the winners from the same year and mixed all others. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I will be ready. I will post the rules for this survivor and then the 3 groups. Then we can start it. Wink

I'm curious who the first 3 will be eliminated. Kissinger, Obama and Arafat? Maybe I put them in one group Grin

This is no person. If I do not stroke the Grameen Bank, then I must also let the Red Cross, Amnesty International etc., on the list.

Gully is right.
But with 97 names, you've got one "extra": why not excluding the last one ? That would be less controversial...
And, even if it will be useless after 3 rounds, maybe you should call everyone to judge the Nobel prizes, not the politicians behind.

I don't think thats a big problem. We can eliminate in one round 2 in a group. I think Obama must stay. I like him (as President, not as Nobel Prize Winner), but he will be out very early. Wink

And why not a small survivor, simultaneously (because the big one would guarantee at least more than 3 votes !) or after, only on organizations ?

Sorry to give you more work !

It's easy to give the others more work Cheesy

I'm not against it. Since the two survivor does not cooperate I would not like that we get confused. I see problems when we have special rules in the big Survivor and not in the small Survivor. If I counted correctly there are 21 organizations who win the Peace Nobel Prize. Perhaps we make it after the big Survivor, or parallel to the final, when we have only one group.

Result Group B: Kissinger 9, Arafat 5, Begin 3, Marshall 1

Result Group C: Trimble 6, Wilson 6, Gore 3, Chamberlain 3 (Trimble wins 1998, Wilson 1919; Trimble is out, because he is the newer winner)

The Result of Round 2

In each group, it was a narrow victory. The elimination of Jodi Williams was a little surprise, but I know it before that she doesn't have a change to come into the final. The turnout is good, but only the normal Survivor maniacs Wink Maybe in the first Round were many Obama haters Grin

Result of Group A:
Jody Williams 4, Teddy Roosevelt 3.5, Lê Ğức Thọ 3, Menchu 0.5

Result of Group B:
Arafat 4.5 (5 in previous Rounds), Begin 4.5 (3 in previous Rounds), Borlaug 0.5, Kellog 0.5, Dawes 0.5

Result of Group C:
Chamberlain 4, Wilson 3.5, Sadat 2.5, Gore 0.5, Sato 0.5

Result of Group B:
Begin 8, de Klerk 1, 1 invalid vote for Sadat

The Result of Round 4

Round 4 was very colorful. We have now many different names on the agenda. In every Group it was a easy win for the "favourits". In group A we had a second elimination. It was a slight second place for Bourgeois. Maybe Hull and Menchu are now in danger. Now we have in every group the same numbers of Nobel Prize Winners

Result of Group A:
Lê Ğức Thọ 20, Bourgeois 11, Menchu 8, Hull 8, Annan 5, Nansen 3, Dalai Lama 3, Sacharov 2

Result of Group B:
de Klerk 21, MacBride 8, Carter 7, Bajer 6, Dawes 3, Balch 3, Borlaug 3, Briand 3, Kellog 2, Ahtisaari 2

Result of Group C:
Sadat 21, Aung San Suu Kyi 12, Gore 8, Sato 7, The Viscount... 5, Walesa 3, Ducommun 2, Butle 1, Peres 1

The Result of Round 5

In this round was the lowerst turnout since the begin of this Survivor. Every group was very close. In group A was a 4-way tie Shocked Rigoberta Menchu was eliminated withe the votes in the previous rounds. You see no vote is wasted, maybe is your Borlaug vote something worth in the next rounds, fab Grin

Result of Group A:
Menchu 2 (5,16 in previous rounds), Hull 2 (2,66 in previous rounds), Annan 2 (1,66 in previous rounds), Gobat 2 (no votes in previous rounds), Root 1

Result of Group B:
Kellogg 4, Carter 3, Bajer 1, Borlaug 1

Result of Group C:
The Viscount Cecil of Chelwood 3,  Sato 2, Gore 1, Walesa 1, Butler 1, Beernaert 1

A round with a low turnout again Sad In group a and B it was a close race and Hull and Carter are out only with the votes of the previous rounds. In group C it was a easy win for Sato.

The Result of Round 10

Yesterday I think this Round with this Special Rule is good for some surprises, but I was wrong. In every Group it was a clear winner. Mother Teresa is out, but I expect that she not survive for a long time in this Game. Many people dislike her and dislike the Catholic Church Wink

For the list of the previous Votes I count only the ELIMINATION votes

Result of Group B:

Dawes +7, Cremer +1, Gorbachev -2, Borlaug -2, Tutu -4

The Result of Round 12

In this round we have many new names on the list. No big surprises, maybe the out of Myrdal is a little one.

From December  22th we must make a break, because I've vacation and I'm not at home. I don't think that it is possible to make this game from may holiday place. But today it's the 16th and we have some days Wink

Result of Group A:

Root 6, Myrdal 4, Arnoldson 3, Stresemann 3, Johaux 1, Dalai Lama 1

Result of Group B:

Asser 5, La Fontaine 5, Balch 2, Briand 2, Robles 1, Ahtisaari 1, Borlaug 1, Corrigan 1,

Asser is on the left

Result of Group C:

The Result of Round 13

This was a very close round. Two ties and 5 -3 isn't a big win too. Funny Detail is Stresemann and Briand get together the Nobel Prize and are out in this Game in the same Round Cheesy

Result of Group A:

Stresemann 3, Arnoldson 3 (both have 3 votes in the previous Rounds, Stresemann is out because he is the newer Nobel Winner), Dalai Lama 1, Pearson 1

Result of Group B:

Briand 3 (4 votes in the previous Rounds), Balch 3 (3 votes in the previous Rounds), Ossietzky 2 Angry

Result of Group C:

A bad Round for Nobel Peace Prize Winners from the 40ies and 50ies. A Easy win for Jouhaux (I find that was a very good man, but Peace Nobel Prize ?) and very close races in Groups B + C. The turnout is very low. Only 7 Sad I hope it will be better in the next rounds, because on weekends we have normally less voters.

Result of Group A:

Jouhaux 5, ElBaradei 1, Blunche 1

Result of Group B:

Marshall 2 (3 in the previous Rounds), Boyd-Orr 2 (1,66 in the previous Rounds), Angell (Lane) 1, Ahtisaari 1, Robles 1

Result of Group C:

Mott 3, Quidde 2, von Suttner 2
