#1
Primarily greenhouse gas emissions from human activities.  Natural processes have had little to no effect on temperatures.

#2
A combination of natural processes as well as a large influence by our activities.

Throw aside the dispute about how accurate our surface observations are or how strong the trend has actually been... the globe has warmed by a significant amount since 1880.

What do you think caused this warming?

I voted option 3, though I do believe that greenhouse gas buildup over the past 200 years has led to a modest increase in global temperatures, but that ultimately the dramatic increase in solar activity over that time period is ultimately responsible for most of the warming we have seen.

I don't necessarily believe that the greenhouse effect is having some sort of effect on current global temps that it didn't have 100 years ago.  I believe that the majority of the unprecedented warmth over the past 10 years (even though the planet has not gotten any warmer, it has still been warmer than any other 10 year period by a long shot) was caused more by a massive water vapor increase after the super El Niņo of 1997/98... as well as the residual energy that was released from the ocean into the atmosphere at that time as well.

Remember, CO2's greenhouse effect is logarithmic... the first 20ppm of Co2 in the atmosphere has a larger warming effect on the atmosphere than the next 400ppm.  So even though Co2 concentrations have grown at an accelerated rate since WWII, the increase in potential greenhouse warming has decreased at an even greater rate... so the increase in CO2 from 1900-1930 had a stronger warming effect than the much larger increase from 1945-present.

As to what percentage of the warming was natural vs. manmade?  I can't say exactly... but I don't think the "consensus" scientists can say either.. especially since they considered the strongest period of solar activity in at least 1000 years happening at the same time as the highest global temps in 1000 years a mere coincidence.

Right now, global CO2 and methane concentrations are higher than they have been for 800,000 years.. yet our planet is not warmer than it has been for 800,000 years.  There have been ice ages with co2 concentrations of 1500ppm... 4 times as high as today.

To discontinue researching other possibilities and natural cycles because "the science is settled" is a total slap in the face to the scientific method and it leads me to believe that climate scientists today are nothing more than self serving self-important blowhards beholden to the whims of their political masters (the ones who give them their money)

The only thing I know about global warming is that I have no right to have an opinion on it. This makes me amply more informed on the subject than the average American.

I don't know what the hell can be the cause. I just think that according to all what I've heard human lifestyle could have a significant impact on it. And in that sens I support the change of lifestyle for that reason and also because it can helps to improve things in other realms.

I support scientific accuracy, may it find out.

Based on what I know I think option 3 is the best option. However, climate science is still evolving so that might not be the right answer.

3 or 4, but I'm not about to have a panic attack over the issue.
