It's best for him to wait until 2016, he still has to govern his home state.

Jindal will probably wait to run until 2016 , 2020, or 2024. He's still very young so there's no need for him to hurry, and it'd probably do him good to serve two whole terms as Governor before he enters a presidentialrace. (Not to mention he needs some time to get better at public speaking Wink) After that he'll be a dangerous contender and might very  well end up president one day.

In 2012 however, I'd say he might be the GOP VP candidate, but not the actual nominee.

Is this country so brainwashed in Christian ideology that his 'exorcism' is really not going to be an issue? I mean really?

the 2016 one.  He seems to be primarily interested in his 2011 reelection campaign, and with so many oversized personalities already in the race he wouldn't have much oxygen.

What exactly does Jindal have to offer that the other neocons do not? His embarrassingly poor and childish "response" to Obama killed any notion that he would somehow restore credibility to the GOP among the intelligent.

Is he even a neoconservative?  He's a devout Catholic governor of a medium-sized state with youth, a unique demographic profile, and reasonable success in office replacing many corrupt incumbents prior.

You don't think it takes some degree of political talent for Piyush Jindal to be elected to Congress from, and then win the governorship of, Louisiana?  This is the same state where David Duke could win a statewide GOP primary.

What exactly does Jindal have to offer that the other neocons do not?

Bill Clinton delivered a horrible keynote address at the 1988 Democratic Convention where a lot more people watched.  Besides, how many GOP primary voters know who Kenneth the Page is?

Quote from:

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1209/30351.html

The Miami Dolphins had to correct Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal on Tuesday for wrongly claiming his 12-0 New Orleans Saints could be the first team in league history to go undefeated and win the Super Bowl.

The Saints are one of only two remaining undefeated NFL teams this season, sitting next to the Indianapolis Colts at the top of the league.

The once beleaguered franchise that was jokingly referred to as the “Aint’s” for much of its history are now the toast of Louisiana, something that has not gone unnoticed by Jindal.

“I'm a lifelong Saints fan,” he said in an interview on WWL, a local radio station. “I remember the bad times and the good times, when they were 1-15, as well as this year’s incredible, incredible run.”

Jindal then predicted that the Saints would go “not only undefeated, but all the way through the Super Bowl, something that’s never been done before.”

Only problem is that if the Saints were to win out and claim the NFL championship, they would be the second team to do it – following the 1972 Dolphins, a fact the Dolphins were more than happy to point out.

“With all due respect to Governor Jindal, our fans in Louisiana and elsewhere will be disappointed to learn that he forgot about the most accomplished team in NFL history – the 1972 ‘Perfect Season’ Miami Dolphins,” Harvey Greene, the team’s senior vice president of media relations, e-mailed POLITICO.

“They are the only team in league annals to go undefeated and win a championship, posting a perfect 17-0 record, including a win in Super Bowl VII,” he continued. “We wish the Saints, and the Indianapolis Colts, who are also undefeated, the best of luck in their attempt to match our undefeated season, and we will be the first to congratulate either team if they accomplish that feat. But until then, we remain the only perfect team in NFL history, an achievement our players and coaches rightly are proud of.”

You'd think that a "lifelong fan" of any football team would be aware that the 1972 Miami Dolphins had a perfect season, especially since that record was so closely challenged only two seasons ago.
