Iran endorses Bush
«
on:

Iran joins Russia, Uzbekstan, and Saudi Arabia in backing Bush.
Why is there only whining about foreign leaders who back Kerry?
Putin - setting democracy back in Russia
Uzbekstan - boiling political prisoners alive
Iran - axis of evil, actually connected to 9/11
Saudi Arabia - almost the worst justice system in the world, very connected to 9/11

Well this what was said:
"'We haven't seen anything good from Democrats,' Rowhani told state-run television... ."
I had
no
idea that Iranians were so well versed in American history.
Still, Kerry raised the point of Iran in debate. This may be an opening, if Bush wins. Bush can do something here that Kerry can't.

I wouldn't call one person being all of Iran. Also, when Hasan Rowhani isn't even the leader of Iran.

The article talks about two Iranians: one praising Bush, one praising Kerry. The author of the article knew how to make people bite the story by baiting it with a suggestive title.
Not much to go on with this article.

Or the originator of the thread!
But, you have to admit, he is fun, largely because he does it soooo badly. :-)

Of course, it would a hard shift for the Iranians if jfern was there, from Islamist to Stalinist.

I love the system for Republicans.
Endorses Bush: "Well, the country must be coming to their senses!"
Endorses Kerry: "Another terrorist nation for Kerry!"

Not quite. Part of Kerry's policy is to use negotiations, and he's touted those "European leaders" that want him elected. Now we have a foriegn leader, from a country with which we have no relations, stating that it would be better to deal with the Republicans. It looks like Bush out Kerry's Kerry.
And we owe it all to jfern for bringing it up. ;-)

Yeah, and I'm sure that's exactly what you'd be saying if Iran had endorsed Kerry. Come on - everyone has their partisan fun.

Kerry did not say European; he said foreign. Your quotation marks around European are misleading.

Okay, but not mentioning "European" strengthens Bush's position.
Kerry claims that "foreign leaders" supported him, and here we have one, from one of the countries with the hottest problems, claiming that they are more willing to negociate with Republicans than with Democrats.

What we have here is a very interesting political situation. The two remaining members of the axis of evil are, just like the American populace, quite polarized on the American presidential race. While John Kerry has found an ally in Kim Jong Il, bush has had to settle for the endorsement of the paper-tiger-by-comparison Iran. Of course, as we all know, the only poll that matters is the one on election day....
