I was trying to prepare for our...

SPECIAL FEATURE: Finding the truth

Here at TPTTAA we are always concerned about the truth, that's why our employee applications only include true-false questions, and false is not included as an option.

We turned out attention to tmthforu94 (SCARY MUSIC) (BLACK AND WHITE DISTORTED IMAGE OF HIS FACE)

tmthforu94 claims to be a "Governor". Some sort of position in a supposed "Government" (SCARY MUSIC). he claims to be "Governor" of the Mideast. But where is the Mid East? And what is in the Middle East? Israel (SCARY MUSIC) (SCENE OF ISRAELI MILITARY DOIN SCARY STUFF) That's right... Israel.

We sat down with tmthforu94 to attempt to get at the truth. He however asked to see our questions up front (SCARY MUSIC) We provided him with the list, and this is what happened.

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

Does he even speak spanish? (SCARY MUSIC) We don't think so. He even slips up and asks for the questions in english (SCARY MUSIC) Frankly, we doubt he speaks spanish at all.

So what else is he lying about? Well he claims his name is Issac. But could be be hidden in his own username? TiMoTHy perhaps (SCARY MUSIC) and what about his lastname. Perhaps he is Romanian, and his name is FlORescU? (SCARY MUSIC) thats right. (PICTURES OF THE BUCHAREST METRO)

That's right. We've been able to determine that he is a Romanian-Israeli.

Also he's a spy

So what does he have to say about all of this? We waited for him to come to us, but it never happened (SCARY MUSIC). That's right, we did not send him a PM... and he never responded to it (SCARY MUSIC)

So next time you talk to tmthforu94, ask him... What are you hiding? (SCARY MUSIC) (PICTURES OF A CASTLE IN TRANSYLVANIA)

Google Translate translates it back as:

Thank you for taking the time to do this interview.

When you decide to be in politics?

What are the various offices he has held since his first victory in the elections?

Are there bills that helped pass is most proud of?

What office you took out what you like best?

What lies ahead? Do you plan to go higher, perhaps even to be president?

Thanks for taking the time to sit with us.

And while its not perfect, it does get the jist of the questions across Tongue

Sorry, I was using freetranslation.com. It, well, wasn't very good I supposed. The questions made no sense on it.

Thank you for taking the time to do this interview.

When you decide to be in politics?
When I was about 13, during the American 2008 election.

What are the various offices he has held since his first victory in the elections?
I was briefly in the Mideast Assembly. Then I was in the Senate for nearly three terms and am currently serving as Governor in the Mideast region.

Are there bills that helped pass is most proud of?
I am extremely proud of the animal protection bills I passed at the federal and regional level. I also believe I took large step during me terms in the Senate to make Atlasia a safer place for all.

What office you took out what you like best?
I'm really enjoying the executive branch, at the moment. While my long list of ideas isn't even close to being completed, I think we're off to a strong start. Though this session seems to be more of an amendment palooza. Wink

What lies ahead? Do you plan to go higher, perhaps even to be president?
My nearest plans are to continue serving as Governor of the Mideast for at least one term. If the people want me to continue on as their Governor, it may be longer than that. And while the presidency isn't something I have been looking at in the near future, it could possibly be something I strive to achieve years from now.

Thanks for taking the time to sit with us.

TPTTAA is proud to announced its acquisition of The Mercury Herald Citizen Record Chronicle Courier Ledger. The holding company that owns both papers will be known as the The Post Tribune Telegraph Mercury Herald Citizen Record Chronicle Courier Ledger of AAtlasia, or TPTMHCRCCLAA, though the paper itself will remain TPTTAA

Finding... THE TURTH

A recent debate between Mr. Blue and Mr. Stoned about what was or was not said took place today inside Mr. Stoned's own presidential thread. We decided to dig down and see what really happened.

Purple State,
This may have been cleared up in the past, and if it has, I'm sorry for wasting your time. But here's my question...
What is your view of regional senate seats, and if elected, would you support and sign legislation that would abolish regional senate seats? And if so, why?

Thank you! Smiley

I would sign such legislation only if it also abolished at-large seats.

What I mean by this is that I could only foresee myself abolishing regional Senate seats as part of a much, much broader reform that fundamentally changes the way the game is played. Even then, it is hard to imagine regions and regional representation ceasing to be fundamental parts of this game.

Through my experience at the regional level of government in the Mideast and having chaired a Constitutional Convention that dealt with these issues, I am certain that the current arrangement of the Senate is one of the finest compromises in this game. It provides a national voice to the regions, which I see as the engine of activity in the game.

I hope that answers your question.

Our judgement on the issue is the following:

"Purple Statist wants to abolish the entire Senate"
False. PS does not wish to abolish the senate, he likes it.

WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!???!!!1?!?

afleitch:
Are you being serious?

TPTTAA:
I'M THE ONLY ONE WITH A NEWSPPAPER! >.<

afleitch:
Aha! But mine is a journal Wink

TPTTAA:
Oh really?
Oh that's okay then Cheesy

So, tell me about your Journal

afleitch:
Okay doke.

It's something I had on the back burner for some time. It is meant to be a major source for news, opinion and Senate related business. I hope it to be a place where bills can be scrutinised and dissected and for it to act as a channel for new ideas and debate. I like getting deep into constitutional and other matters anyway so it gives me and hopefully others an opportunity to do that. It's also something different, it's not something I've seriously attempted before so it will be interesting as to how it turns out.

I also like history, I like quirks, I like interesting quotes. I hope it makes the Spectator and Society an interesting read.

Andrew

TPTTAA:
But you won't have any jokes right?

afleitch:
Only 'New Yorker' style half assed attempts now and then Smiley

TPTTAA:
Thank you for your time
