I totally agree. I think that Ford might have handled the hyperinflation and the hostage crisis (if it still occured) better than Carter did, but regardless of whether he did or not, at least he would have saved the U.S. from 28 years of "Trickle-down economics." 1976 was a good election to lose in retrospect, just like 1836, 1872, 1892, 1928, and 2004.
