Who is cheating in the 2004 election?

How are they cheating?

Please provide references, not just allegations, unless you witnessed the cheat personally.

Both sides cheat, nothing new or shocking about it.

This is typical Republican justification. The facts point to the GOP behaving very badly. So they make some vague reference to Dems behaving badly and then declare "it's even".

How have the Dems cheated in this election cycle? Details with links please.

Why don't you initiate it?  List the Republican cheats.

I agree with StatesRights:  Both campaigns "cheat" in one way or another.  It's been happening since day one.

Can't find the links, but I'll give you details(this was discussed in a thread before somewhere anyways) - New Hampshire, many Democrat officials in numerous towns mailed in third party(and Nader) signatures for ballot access late(this wasn't just an isolated incident with one or two towns, it was a number big enough not to be coincidence). Because the signatures were late, they were not counted, costing the Libertarians ballot access. This was likely initiated because of Nader 'spoiling' the 2000 election, spurring hatred for third parties in general.

I heard there was cheating in the 1964 Johnson "landslide" - but no specifics

There's definitely a lot of Democratic fraud going on in battleground states. I'm worried about the Democrats stealing this election.

Can any Bush supporters construct a sentence that explains how the Democrats are cheating? A specific person or group committing a specific act that is illegal or unethical?

You guys throw around allegations, but never seem to have any details.

The link provided, billhobbs.com, about "cheating". Moveon.org is sending emails asking people to volunteer. Wow, that's underhanded!

Certain counties in Ohio have more registered voters than eligible voters. That's usually not a good sign.

One guy was getting crack cocaine from the NAACP to register fraudulent voters.

Bush supporter tactic: when losing a debate on logic and substance try to draw the person into a interpersonal squabble.

(do find on 'Dallas')

No idea if this is true, or whether you would call it an attempt at cheating on a grassroots level, but shocking nevertheless if true.

It really comes down to this:

Both sides have cheaters as will any group of several million people who are competing for what they see as the future of the free world.

Please provide references, not just allegations, unless you witnessed the cheat personally.

I've seen GOP hacks outside safeway getting folks to change their registration.  One guy said he gets four dollars per verifiable voter.  Don't know if that's cheating, but I'm glad to see they're using my contribution wisely.

And of course there's the Democrat effort to keep Nader off the ballot.  How sleazy is that?  And weak!

Guess I'd have to agree with StatesRights on this one.  They are all pretty sleazy, and it's really not that shocking.  Nor even surprising.

That's not cheating or illegal.  Heck, Ronald Reagan changed his registration.

Its illegal to pay money or gifts in exchange for votes. I believe that's the law of the land. That's what the anti-Michael Moore suit is about in Michigan.

They are suing Michael Moore for offering slackers a package of three free Hanes underwear (for guys) or a day's worth of Top Ramen (for girls) if they promise to vote on election day.  That hardly sounds like buying votes to me.

Here is a good new article listing lots more cheating.  This was found on Drudge.  My second visit ever...
