I strongly approve of my Governor (last time for the next four years I'll be able say that).

Future Governor Jari Askins? - Strongly Approve
Possible Future Governor Mary Fallin (R) - Mildly Approve

I have two questions Smiley

1.) How can you approve or disapprove of the job performance of anybody if they haven't done the job yet?

2.) Even if you just answer approve or disapprove based on issues and whatever else...what has Mary Fallin done (besides being a friend of yours) that would allow you to approve of her job?

1) I approve of them in their current jobs which I expect they would translate the same philosophy into their new job.  Remember Askins is Lt Governor and Fallin is former Lt Governor and current OK-5 Rep.

2) She's not a complete nutjob like a lot of Oklahoma Republicans.  I like her faith for one, and her policies, while very conservative, aren't way out in left field.  She's also very passionate and compassionate with her beliefs.  Meaning, she knows what she believes, but she doesn't shove it down anyone's throat, she is very receptive and listens well to differing opinions.  She doesn't let the differing opinions sway her, but she does listen to their concerns and has compassion.  Those are two qualities I really like.  Stand up for what you believe, but don't beat anyone over the head with it, something I didn't too well in my recent rant on the 2012 board.  I had to say mildly approve, because I'm not too much of a fan of her policies, but as I said, I like the way she presents them.

I can't express with words how much I loathe our current governor.  I could spend all day telling you EXACTLY why I hate him and everything he does... the self serving, smarmy son of a bitch.

Marginally approve. The poor guy has an impossible job, and these days our state appears to be run by and large by referenda.

Paterson is getting better recently because he realizes (or someone told us) that since he is screwed from an election standpoint, he should tell the people the truth and act on it, however painful it is.

The funny thing is that it is also improving his election prospects, unwittingly.

Horst Seehofer, Prime Minister of Bavaria

I strongly disapprove him. Nobody knows what he wants and his government is very chaotic.

I like Ritter, but had he been more fiscally conservative we may not have had all these damn budget problems. I'm neutral, though I oppose his reelection.

Oh, I forgot about my Governor in Germany.

Roland Koch (Hesse)

Neutral...somewhat approve I guess. But I don't like him personally.

If I compare Seehofer and Koch, then Seehofer almost likeable. Cheesy
