My favorite U.S. President is really a simple one, and is one of the most liked of all. My least favorite was a fascist academic who held unreasonable grudges against opposing views. So, in effect, my choices are:

Favorite: Theodore Roosevelt
Least Favorite: Woodrow Wilson

This is actually what I would probably have to go with (although I would probably add Andrew Jackson to the list for the Trail of Tears and for helping make the Whigs electable).

     Jackson was pretty bad too. He did oppose a national bank, but I'm sure you can find something good done by any President.

Note: Obama is working pretty hard at eclipsing Carter, and may yet succeed.
