Okay.  I liked them.  I have started a great many.  But there are a few things I don't understand (and I am hoping someone here can explain)...

1.    Why is it necessary to keep repeating some of the same people?  I mean, how many "Opinion of George W. Bush" threads have we had?  Is it that someone is too lazy to search for an older thread?  Because sometimes these are only a week or two apart, and I don't think the "opinion of" is gonna change all that much.

2.     What's the real point behind threads like "Opinion of Hitler...Stalin...Mao..." etc.  Obviously, one or two assholes are going to say FF because they are dicks.  Another three or four might say FF just to mock the stupidity of the thread or because they think it's funny.  I just don't get it.

It's not that I dislike opinion of threads.  I think they can be especially informative and helpful in getting acquainted with some pivotal politicians of the past.  And it may be a means of introducing us to current ones we are unaware of.  I just don't see the sense in some of the ludicrous ones.
