Apparently it's how they do it.  Youtube link to an Israeli robot blowing up a possible bomb.  It's not like a security guard walked over to it, whipped out his side arm and fired into it just to be a dick.


And I'm not saying this is the best way to handle possible bombs, but what do I know?

Yes, because that laptop might contain a bomb in it. Many civilians/terrorists unfortuantely try these sort of tactics and thus Israel needs to be careful.
