What does this have to do with anything? Am I missing something?

It said in the article that she is being urged to run by her father Guy Molinari and Rudy Giuliani. However I had thought he had died and thats why she ran to succeed him in the House, way back. Guess not.

Guy Molinari is the Staten Island borough president. At age 81.

No, he was the Staten Island borough president until 2002.

James Molinaro is the current BP. At age 78.

Such diversity they have on Staten Island Cheesy

Isn't he like the only elected member of the Conservative Party of New York?

Would she have a chance at the Conservative Party nomination, considering she's pro-choice and pro-gay rights?

No probably not, but she might nab the Independence Party nod.

I think the Conservative party might end up like the Liberal party really. They failed to prevent Mangano from wining the Nassau CE and a bunch of other moderate Republicans from winning in the NY Suburbs. What purpose do they serve. If all they can get is two Congressman who are Republicans first(King and Lee) and the State Island Burough President which is worthless. Eventually you would hope they would do us all a favor and self destruct.
