Conservative Party running their own candidate?  Fantastic.  What would be a good guess of such a candidate's strength?  5-10%?

Um... I'm pretty sure he was closer to beating Owens than he was to getting only 5%.

Meh, it was July and Dede hadn't unexpectedly dropped out.  The dynamics of the race hadn't shaped up yet.  I'll never be one to brag that my first impressions of a race are permanent.  That particular race had a lot of evolving to do, and Scozzafava ran such a horrible campaign.  

FYI, I had solidly and falsely predicted a Hoffman victory for a few weeks there before the end.  So I can screw up on both sides of the ball, I'm pretty much never right, except on a few longshot predictions that I'm kinda proud of

Well, if a relatively new poster goes on and on about strip clubs and obscure "indy" bands, I will accuse him of following BRTD too much.

When such a poster tells us about overwhelming Democrat victories, naturally, I think of Lunar.

Right now the Senate has a large population of political prostitutes and tone deaf politicians (maybe that makes them qualified to form an "indie" band).

So, they don't need any "strippers."

Oh, and BTW, I'm looking for someone who has a copy of the video of McCain telling the labor leaders a few years ago that only aliens would pick lettuce for $50 an hour.
