Now let me see.

The P, was for Party.

The D, was for German (as opposed to Brazilian or Japanese)

The S, was for Socialist.

and the A, was for Workers.

Hmm.

Hitler was the head of the Socialist Workers Party in Germany.

You forgot about the "N".

Fail. Go away and return when you've read more history than what is on Simple English Wikipedia.

Sorry, but that is wrong. If that meaning had been intended, the name would have been NSAPD ("of Germany"). Deutsch- in this specific WW I era usage, as also in "Deutschvölkisch", "Deutschnationale Volkspartei", etc, means approximately "German Nationalist, Antisemite and Killing Marxists at Sight".

As to the poll question: No, of course, although in a weird sense his appeal was. Certainly the NSDAP appeared to be less beholden to traditional German Far Right Conservative Crap than the DNVP, and for that reason had greater appeal to people whom you would have considered "Centrists" in 1928.

I realize that you are a failure, and and try to attribute your own limitations to others.

You may believe you give orders, but, that's just another of your delusions.

I suggest you check out Toland's biography, but then I'm doubtful you are capable of comprehending it.

In conclusion, get lost.

You're incapable of giving the correct full name of the Nazi Party. Maybe it's because giving the full name wouldn't fit with your theory that Hitler was in fact a communist. In that case, I'll forgive you and conclude that it's just the fact that you're a pathetic hack.

Hitler was a German, I guess that means all Germans are fascist Jew-haters who want to rule the world (looking at you Lewis Tongue).

This thread is so welcome.

I mean, it's been at least 14 minutes since we've had a "Hitler was a Communist" debate.

Yes, but I don't know what point that proves. It just means his policies and ideas don't fit neatly on the modern political spectrum.

There was certainly socialist elements in the NSDAP who took the revolutionary claims to heart and wanted the party to be truly socialist to win the worker's vote against the communists. However, Hitler purged such elements from the party gradually which culminated in the execution of Ernst Rohm and the night of long knives. Hitler had no use for such pseudo Bolshevism and adopted economic conservativism to gain the funding of big business cabals.

People, as a word of advice, if you don't know what you are talking about, don't post.

Economically, compared to the Communists and Rohm, yes, he was.  Smiley

First of all, I never alledged that "Hitler was in fact a communist."  Apparently you are hallucinating again.

Second, its NSDAP, not "Nazi."  Apparently you are incapable of even providing the correct acronym.

I guess its just that you are a "pathetic hack."

Nazi is a perfectly acceptable term. Another one, though not often seen in English, is just NS.
