Yes, just so he can have his cult of creepy supporters again. I always found them amusing.

The Republican running in my State House district who had absolutely no chance and failed to break 11% was some 27-year old grad student Ron Paul nut whose entire website was basically nothing but speeches and writings by Paul. I don't recall any Democratic candidates with a similar website worshipping Obama.

Seconded...

As for the answer to the poll - no, I dont want Paul.  He is Neville Chamberlain on national defense.  If I could take his economic views and combine them with the national security views of Bill Kristol and Charles Krauthammer, I would have the perfect candidate.

No, just because I'd like to know just how well Johnson would do with an unsplit libertarian vote in the primaries. It would be fascinating from a cartographic standpoint if he could be competetive enough to win a bunch of counties or even a few states. Probably won't happen, but still...

The fascists are already unified behind the Democratic ticket. Obama and Biden are safe.

That's why Ron Paul will have a chance to take them down since the fascists will all be with the Dems already.

If Paul runs, then Gary Johnson might as well pack it up. He'll need the Paulites along with the other people he may bring in if his message isn't as radical.

Paul will never be President.  The Paultards might as well choose Johnson as their new leader.

No, simply because any potential Paul run would only take votes away from a Johnson run. In my opinion, between the two Johnson has a bit of a better chance in the primaries. No offense to anyone but Ron Paul, even if he was by far the sanest Republican in the primaries, came off sounding like a crazy old guy.

Just saying.

It's always nice to see him in the debates. It actually makes them worth watching, at least sometimes.

In a way, yes. If only to further energize the teabaggers, thus furthering the split among the Republican Party.

Stop using the word fascist so fallaciously, please. If you really understood what fascism is, and what fascism implies, you wouldn't use it in that way. When you've got relatives killed by fascism, it's disgusting to see how shallow and unsensitive people can be.

Anyway, I don't dislike Ron  Paul. I do not agree with some of his views, but he's overall a decent politician and more likable than most of his fellow republicans.

Yeah, remember that one debate where he totally owned Rudy Giuliani on terrorism but the mouth-breathing rednecks in the audience booed him anyway?
