With numbers like this in a "toss up race" The Republicans seem to have a great shot at reversing the Democrats 24 seat gain in 2008, but can they get 41 and take control?

This could concievably happen, but it is more likely that the race will tighten up significently, Driehaus is no pushover (though neither is Chabot).

I wonder what the record is for the biggest margin of victory by a previous loser in a rematch. Definitely a 17% victory would be impressive for Chabot, but bear in mind that the election is also 9 1/2 months off.

In 1996, David Price came back into office after losing in 1994, winning by a 10.6% margin.
