Me too, then Michael Williams needs to be appointed Senator.

She's more or less my political opposite, but she seems like a decent person and candidate. I hope she wins the Primary.

You all know I'm not a Republican, but since getting a Democrat in Texas in 2010 seems rather little possible... go Kay! Smiley

Palin's endorsement is more valuable in a Republican primary FWIW. (even though Dems and Indies can play in it)

Wow this is a massive endorsement. Surely Hutchison will easily win the Republican nomination now.

Hutchison 2010. The last thing Texas needs is more of Bush Jr.'s treason-spewing former lackey.

I know some pretty reasonable Texas conservatives who are hacked off by one or two things KBH has done, but on the whole, most seem to like her.

Now, Bubba and Billy Bob on the other hand may prefer Governor Goodhair.

I would hope KBH would win, but I'm not so sure.  As Sam said, an endorsement from the elder Bush is not necessarily the most sought-after advantage in a Texas Republican showdown.

I'm actually more concerned, though, about who might replace her in the Senate.

Why are you so concerned about her replacement in the Senate?

Yes. I hope she does too. The least bad of the two I guess (and the Democrat won't win...).

There are more than enough Christo-fascists in the Senate now. We really need more?

I really like Kay and hope she beats Perry. When she leaves her senate seat, we can get Michael Williams to be elected.
