Pawlenty or Romney probably. Who knows. The environment in 2012 will be
radically
different.
I saw that and instantly laughed out loud.

Mitt Romney is the only candidate with a realistic shot at both in my opinion, so I'll go with him.

I believe that only a centrist republican can defeat obama. Maybe tim pawlenty or Bobby Jindal.

Pawlenty is the republican governor to the only state that didn't go for Ronald Reagan. He can be very effective, Jindal is the most popular governor in America right now, he denied obamas stimulus. Both these guys can give obama a true challenge.

In today's GOP, most anyone to the left of Jesse Helms is a "centrist".

Huckabee.
I can't imagine someone like Huckabee (a theocrat and 'fair' tax supporter) being a huge force in 2012. I could be wrong though.

As to the original question, Huckaber. Lowest unfavorables among Republicans and the strongest in head to head polls vs Obama.

Um. Tim Pawlenty is not a centrist. Not even remotely close. He's a far right Republican with a "gosh, it's nice to meet you" demeanor... but he hasn't been able to play his far right hand all that well because Minnesota simply isn't a far right state.

I think the prediction needs to be backed up specifically by what swing states they will take away from Obama.
I don't think Romney will take any states from Obama.
I think Jeb would definitely take Florida and Ohio.

Yeah because there are enough Republicans like me who would pull the lever for Obama if she received the nomination.

Thune
I think Thune is a stealth candidate that is better than the "frontrunners" The others, Palin, Romney, etc will flop because they have no substance. He's kinda in a similar position to Brownback last time, in fact Brownback should run in 2012 again instead of as governor, now that "heavyweight" McCain is out of the way.
Thune's drawback that he might be too good looking, perhaps a bit young looking too. He might seem like a GOP version of a 2004 John Edwards, with looks overshadowing substance. But unlike Edwards, Thune actually has the substance, just as long as people get past his looks. In fact, if this were a movie he would be cast as a "perfect" looking president, but real life is far more difficult to navigate on the way to the Presidency.

Not at all. In fact, Jeb wouldn't get the nomination. The country is beyond having been Bush-whacked by Nos. 41 and especially 43.
