Who were the best presidents that never were? I'd say Robert La Follette, Robert F. Kennnedy, Edward M. Kennedy, Hubert H. Humphrey, Henry Clay, Paul Wellstone, Mario Cuomo, Al Gore, Eugene V. Debs, and Mo Udall. There's more, but that's all I'll say.

Henry Clay - Yes
John C. Calhoun - A charismatic man and a great politician, but a horrible person
