To an earlier question, Bugsy Rendell has to order a special election and give 60 days notice.  If he does it during the May primaries he'll save money for the state, but he said he hasn't decided (like we have money to burn)

 

How long can Rendell legally stall giving notice of the election? I am sure that the Dems will find this election an annoyance and an inconvenience. Who gave Murtha permission to die at this most inconvenient time?  What an incorrigible bastard he was!

Torie, our primary is May 18, so clearly he has the leeway to let it go until March 16 or so.......but I don't know the statute well.

F the reefer thingy. My favorite is this really cool clear frosted glass Sherlock Holmes kind of pipe (it has a long stem), with a little water container below the bowl that bubbles away. It's awesome both aesthetically and from an efficiency standpoint, and you know how much I am into efficiency.
