A Healthcare bill with a restricted public option was passed with bipartisan approval.  A second stimulus package was passed.

I can't see these two things happening.

I see the first as plausible.  The second is pretty unlikely, but I wanted to relay the message that everyone was getting along and were looking up in America.

The bold part in the first one is extremely unrealistic.

As I said restricted...And by that I mean very restricted.  And by bipartisan I mean about 5 Republican votes.

Anyways, it doesn't really matter.  I was just trying to relay a message.

5 Republican votes is not bipartisan. Something genuinely bipartisan has at least 1/3 of the members of each party supporting it (at least in my opinion). 5 Republican votes is essentially a Democratic bill. Anyway, other than that, good timeline. Keep up the good work.

I thought Perriello would lose reelection to Rob Hurt (R) in 2010 and thus be out of Congress in 2011.
