Well said. It is getting increasingly laborious to type out all the names isn't it?  

My list of favorite posters is way too long to type out, but I will just name a few that come immediately to mind. The ones I have chatted with privately from time to time (because I like them) that I can  recall off the top of my head at the moment, are sbane, spade, JS, the Moose, AHDuke, Xahar, Opebo, Muon2 and Alcon. I have known Brittain33 and Moderate for a long time and admire them both very much. Lunar is fantastic for all the hard work he puts in finding stuff to put up for us to enjoy. I like cinyc's rather penetrating and incisive analytical mind, and passion for psephological trivia. And I really, really like Snowguy. I just do! And oh, that Russian named guy which starts with an "a" is a newly emerging superstar. Man is he at once smart, articulate, informed and polite! And then there are Smid and Badger who are both well - sweethearts really. And then there is Grumps, who I really, really, can relate to on all the levels that really count!   You can see that ideology plays a near zero role as part of any metric that I use I suspect.  Frankly dear, on that, I don't give a damn, as someone once said in the movies.

My fellow Populares are my favorites, so Libertas, FallenMorgan, Dallasfan, SPC, Mint, JBrase, Winston Disraeli, Giovanni, Silent Spade and all our favorite newbies like ARescan and SvenssonRS top my list. I also like Xahar and PiT and Hawkeye and Grumpy Gramps.

Least favorites would be Marokai, Lief, Antonio, and Joe Republic.

Least Faves:

People that post ridiculously long, unreadable articles and expect us to discuss them.  Bonus points if the article is a hackish blog post.
People that don't understand sarcasm.

He's probably next in line if he wins this Senate election, which I highly doubt. The JCP bench is running kinda thin after so many terms.

I am new here, so I really can't give a fair opinion on who is the nicest person or the most likeable.  In time, I hope.  But in terms of who are my favorite contributors to read, the list is pretty decent already.  There are some very intelligent and "with-it" folks here.
