This survivor should be locked/closed by the moderater.

I have no reason to do it. Ballot stuffing isn't forbidden.
And long series of defeats aren't a rare thing, even in more... "classical" survivors...

When you are fed up with something, just drop it Wink.
I've already thought about boycotting it, because of Poland and France.

And maybe it'll occur soon Wink.

Take it cool: it's always irritating to see things not developing as you wish (and I remember some Chavez or Morales votes wated for many, many rounds).
But, well, even if there is PMing and ballot stuffing (for which I have no evidence though), it's only a game...
And you can just examine how long PMing is efficient Wink. But, most of those who don't vote Vatican aren't just influenced.
And the ultimate thing is just to not come here each day. RL isn't in survivors Wink.
As for me, as moderator, I'm forced to read everything, just in case... So, while checking, I drop a vote, it's always simpler, but I don't really care much.

Anyway, that's also why I've created the "options" taken on ideas of survivors, so that you can keep good ideas for you or for people you trust.

Of course it's a game and i have nothing against Libertas, i quite like the guy, but a few rounds ago the Vatican was about to get ousted and he (who always updates the survivors after 1 day) left the voting open for another day till it got the votes for the Vatican to stay. Maybe it's not against the rules because a manager can wait as long as he wants to close a round but it's certainly shady (especially considering that his other survivors were updated at the usual time).

Still, it's not something to worry about too much, it's just a game Wink

Actually I sometimes get delayed on all of my survivors depending on how busy I get. There is no set time frame I have for updating them.

Well, from what i can see you seem to have a regular time where you update everything, maybe I'm wrong.
But the day the Vatican was on it's way out the voting was kept open for another day while all your other threads were updated after the usual day, that's what bothered me. If you had kept the voting open in every survivor thread of yours then i wouldn't have noticed it, but it was pretty clear you only kept this one open to save the Vatican.

That's why i guess some people would try to boycott the thread, i think it has nothing to do with the Vatican staying, it's just that it wasn't really fair and square.

But there are no rules stating how much time a voting round should be kept open and it's a game so I'm not going to press the issue further Tongue

In fact i'm going to vote for Ireland now, to see if Gully can vote for some other country Grin

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think I updated any of the survivors on the night you are referring to.

Well, i had to go back and check it out but I'm correct. The round in question was the one were Andorra was kicked out instead of the Vatican and in the US states survivor it was the round were Louisiana got the boot. Both were started on the 21st (at least according to my timezone) but the state survivor ended on the 22nd like usual but this one stayed until the 23rd. At the time you closed the other thread the Vatican was losing 6-3.

But i don't really want to keep discussing this, these games are supposed to be fun and an interesting way to pass time.

In fact i wouldn't even be too upset if the Vatican is the survivor, i went there twice in my life and i liked it a lot.

And all the Vatican haters should coalesce around my next good ideas Cheesy:
Switzerland, Cyprus, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Austria, and Ireland of course,
all "provincial" countries with big parochialism or uninteresting history or nasty history and mediocre politics Wink despite fine landscapes.

I don't think the Vatican protectors would be able to be united in this case.
And Vatican can be ousted later, just "on the way"....
