Definitely HP.

And not for being Catholic by the way, but rather for being named after one of the worst genocidal mass murderers in history.

So do you think the nation of Columbia is horrible too? How about Columbus, Ohio? A street in the town I grew up in is named Columbus Avenue. Is that a horrible street as well?

Nah, while there were at least two Irish Saint Columba's or Columcille and a Saint Columbanus- the K of C was named from Christopher Columbus. There is a separate fraternal order in Ireland called the Knights of Columbanus.

Columbus didn't exactly say, "Hey, I'm going to travel to a distant land, meet new people and give them all smallpox."  He didn't realize it was an unknown continent.

Growing up in Ohio, I used to think this had something to do with the city.  I guess I still don't really know what it's about.

Welcome to the forum.  This is BRTD.  He was dropped on his head a few times as a child.  Bear that in mind whenever you encounter one of his posts.

To actually answer the question, they sponsored opposing little league teams, gave me some scholarship money and had some cheap beers at their meeting hall- they are okay in my book.
