Probably male, but far too young to have any kind of sexual preference yet.

Year or two older. I'd peg him in the 11 to 12-year old range.

Older by default.  Although Catmusic did figure out girls, apparently.

Venture Brothers deals with the problem....

Jefferson Twilight: On three we give him the old Rochambeau.
The Alchemist: Rock-paper-scissors?
Dr. Orpheus: What does a general from the American Revolution have to do with this?
Jefferson Twilight: American Revolution? Rochambeau sounds…sounds French to me.
Dr. Orpheus: Yes, the Franco-American forces.
Jefferson Twilight: They fought with spaghetti-o’s and meatballs?
The Alchemist: Why would a company called Franco-American make Italian food?

The Order of the Triad rules.

Ah the youngs, so into sexual identity. Isn't it interesting, that the olds here, all of them I think, just don't give a damn (other than idle curiosity of course, because while relatively dried up and dessicated, we are still vaguely human)?

Male, probably asexual, possibly prepubescent.

I also think that he's younger than Catmusic, who was almost certainly older than ten.

Every now and then, he would let his guise slip...like when Intermoderate and I joked that he should name his first-born 'Catmusic JewishConservative,' and Catmusic responded by wondering how I knew that he was Jewish and ended the post with Wink.  That doesn't strike me as something a ten-year-old would do.

Others noticed other things, but that is the one that I remember.

I seem to remember that being tmtr4u or whatever his name is not catmusic.

I definitely believe Catmusic was 10.  Some of the stuff he said an adult mind trying to act like a child couldn't make up.  It was too pure.

Tmth said that his iPod was Jewish, which was just bizarre.

I'd say that Catmusic played his role well, but a look at his posting history raised a few red flags:

1) With fewer than twenty posts, Catmusic could make and post his own maps, but two months later didn't know how to put a picture in his signature
2) He didn't know what YaBB god means
3) He knew about Yates, Ben Meyers*, and Straha
4) He had never heard of Karl Marx
5) He started a thread asking why it is cloudy at 4 AM
6) The aforementioned comment about being Jewish

He made several posts about how this state would flip before that one in 2012, indicating that he reads and is intellectually curious.  I think that 1, 2, 4, and 5 were things he did to craft this image of being 10, and that 3 and 6 are where he overplayed his hand.  Number 1 I have particular difficulty buying.  He could choose his avatar and post maps, but he couldn't make a signature?

I didn't see any 'purity' in his history on the order of, say, Rochambeau's inability to understand why someone would have sex with a girl with whom he isn't terribly attracted.  Was there anything in particular that Catmustic posted that seemed pure?  Are you thinking of those goofy name threads that most of us hated?

*I lurked the site off and on for four or five years before I started posting last year, and I have no idea who that guy is.

It's entirely possible that he played with the evcalc, but didn't know the page where the signature is changed.

Yeah, the maps feature is very easy to use and learn. And there's a button for generating code instantly to post the maps.

The only other one of those that strikes me as suspicious is #3, though it's not hard to browse the archives here. #2 isn't something most people would instantly realize who are used to message boards, #4 isn't shocking at all, do even a majority of 10-year olds know who Karl Marx is? The poll in #5 also seems like a typical 10-year old stupid question. Nothing odd about #6 at all really.

Do even a majority of Americans know who Karl Marx is?  I doubt it.

As for the first point, I know I did an awful lot of lurking before I signed up here, and a lot of archive-binging after I joined.  I'm sure I'm not the only one.
