Two FL papers endorsed Kerry that endorsed Bush in 2000.

As we've discussed in two other threads, newspaper endorsements mean no more than used tp at a truck stop.

I don't think anybody much doubts that.

I wish they'd had the guts to endorse one of the other candidates.  Do they want people to leave their ballots blank?

Florida voters have six other choices.

Wow...this is the first time in over 60 years that the Detroit News has not endorsed the Republican presidential candidate.

The "swing" newpaper endorsements should be interesting....If any endorsement is going to have an impact on this race, I would look to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal and the Cleveland Plain Dealer, both of whom are unpredictable.

The Tribune has been endorsing republicans since 1952.

I suspect many responsible conservative newspapers will be having a great difficulty endorsing Bush.

I think Kerry's gained a few (about 5) papers that endorsed Bush in 2000, while Bush has picked up one in Pennsylvania that endorsed Gore in 2000.

Their first mistake. Goldwater was a good man and would have made a damn good president.

I have a feeling the Jentinal will come out for Bush, but I could be wrong.

Hmmmm.... Goldwater would have put a stop to all this federal spending.  Would have been an excellent president.  Lumping Bush with Goldwater is lunacy.
