"No-spin" democratic leaning analysts that I trust: Pat Caddell, Howard Fineman, Ron Brownstein and probably Russert.  I think all of these guys give un-biased,professional insights.  Curious to see if you Dems have any Rep. analysts that you value.

I like Caddell. I also like, and I don't know how he's registered or how he votes, but I think Michael Barone has some good analysis.

There were a couple pollsters on the other night, one Dem and one GOP, who were both very honest and forthright with their opinions. Both were not satisfied with where their candidated were. The GOP pollster said he was basically disappointed that Bush's approval hadn't risen beyond the low 50s or right at 50 or 49 and he hadn't pulled away, as is typical of an incumbent who is re-elected. The Dem pollster, on the other hand, was really disappointed that Kerry's numbers as a challenger were, as he described, awful, and that Kerry had failed to get a lead or reach out to people, as is typical of a challenger who is elected and who ousts an incumbent.

It was refreshing and nice not to have to hear from the likes of Estrich, McAuliffe, Rove, Coulter, or any of the other ultra super partisans on where the race stood.

I like Tucker Carlson, Bill Kristof, and George Will (he's conservative but not Republican).

There are probably no issues on which I would agree with Pat Buchanan, but I think his analysis is honest.  He's willing to say when a Republican is screwing up, rather than just parroting the party line.

I'm independent, but very liberal.

Pat Caddell is at the top of the list.  Lawrence O'Donnell used to be pretty high on my list too, but his year long slow descent to the bottom of my list was punctuated by last night's performance on Scarborough.

I've also always found Lanny Davis very likeable, but I can't explain why.

Yes, for both sides.

I like Susan Estridge on FOX.  Usually intelligent analysis.

I concur.  Buchanan is one of the few honest pundits on either side.

William F. Buckley Jr., George Will and Bill Saffire.

Buchanan can be entertaining, but he runs the gamut.

Pat Caddell, who first pointed out that FL wasn't going Gore in 2000.  Chris Mathews comes a close second.

I like Pat Caddell.  He proved his mettle to me during the Florida recount.  I also enjoy Russert.  He's a pretty fair questioner.

Antony Green. And thats the ONLY one.

Coincidentally, my mum wants me to become a political analyst. Wouldn't be too bad, but not my first choice.

Yeah I don't trust any of the pundits. Maybe Jon Stewart but he's on my side it appears.

As someone, who probably watches FOX considerably more than most progressives, I don't have any aversion as such to conservative analysts, I just agree to differ!
