Duncan Hunter for Governor of California is a hilarious idea. First of all, he couldn't break 40% of the vote. Second, even if he could, his area of expertise is just about the last thing that is in Governor's job description, particularly at  a moment California is in right now.

Ok I will say that Whitman would be much better for the state than Jerry Brown would be, but Hunter at least wouldn't be a candidate trying to buy votes. Still he won't run for governor probably so I guess Whitman will have to be the choice. She certainly has appeal, I just am uneasy about her record of not voting that's all and her tactics in the primary election campaign.
