Would Coolidge have won 65%?

I think that almost all LaFollette supporters would have voted for Coolidge in a two-way race (I don't think many of them would have stayed home), and thus I think Coolidge might have  broke 70% of the PV in 1924. I think he would have defineitely broke 65% though.

Collidge had it won when the Dems nominated Davis.

La Follete just entered the race to make interesting.

You didn't answer my question, though.

He might would have made it to 60-65% or even 70%.

La Follet's support mainly came in the Northwest and the west.

Potentially, but more likely in the 60s range.

Yeah, Coolidge probably would have gotten 62-65. A lot of the La Follette people probably would just stay home.

I think some of them would stay home, but I think that most of them would still vote for the lesser of the two evils, which would probably be Coolidge for almost all of them.

Being much more cynical of progressivism, I would say Davis would get an equal amount of them or more then Coolidge and the rest would stay home.

Coolidge was actually more Progressive than Davis, so I seriously doubt many LaFollette voters would have voted for Davis in a two-way race.

I doubt it; he probably would've capped at about 66%.

And if Davis had a black mistress, Coolidge would have won 90% of the vote.

You're probably right.
