At home with parents
At school
Your own home (with kids and spouse, perhaps)
An apartment (solo)
An apartment with roommate

Or any of other options that I didn't list.

The Earth is female. It's Mother Earth, not Father Earth.

Typical Thai bedsit.

Mine's a bit nicer than this, but this gives you an idea of how basic they generally are:

Basically bedroom with desk and chair, TV, fridge, and a full bath.  No kitchen.

Studio apartment in an older building near Uptown Minneapolis. The building itself is relatively small (probably about 25 people live here), but the entire block is full of apartments, basically either apartments or restaurants.

Solo in a 35-40mē apartment, one kitchen, one living room, one bed room, one bathroom, in a 3 floors building of the downtown of Castres, I'm the last apartment on the 3rd floor, which is basically the height of all buildings in the downtown.

I believe that you have a fairly realistic 'dream' for the New America.. one which is a very high goal but which just might, with luck and hard toil, be achieveable.

Are you defining working 40 hours a week as "hard toil"? Because that's basically all I have to do to get that situation. Granted, working 40 hours a week is pretty damn hard.
