The Democratic hackery in here is amazing, Republicans don't complain about the dime.
Many more people are more deserving of than Reagan though.
FDR was put on the dime for apolitical reasons. The organization today known as the March of Dimes got its name, of course, from soliciting donations of a single dime, and was originally focused on the eradication of polio. FDR, having had polio himself, was a major symbol of the movement. He was put on the dime as a symbolic show of support.
