O'k let's say after serving as Mayor by the Carmel Sea from '86 to '88, Clint decides to make Politics his future and runs on the state level. I tend to think his Libertarian-Message(He described himself as socially liberal and fiscally conservative) could beat out the more Moderate Pete Wilson in 1990 for the GOP Nod. I think in a tight race he could beat out Dianne Feinstein in the General and serve a full two terms as Wilson did IOTL. By 2000 he's the most popular Republican Governor since Ronnie...He's able to trounce Bush in the Primaries than have the showdown with Gore in the General

Well, I still Think with Gore still running for Bill's Third Term(Without the Sex) he'd still be able to keep it close, and maybe if he focuses more on the South could real he and his runningmates homestates. But Eastwood, despite his age is just oozing with to much much Personal Charisma and Presidential Timber.

Eastwood has that Presidential look and way about him. I think he would have been in the 300's for EV's because the country wasn't in bad shape at the time. If Clinton's final year leading up to election was atrocious, you might have seen a Reagan/Carter 80 result.
