Is the guardian a real newspaper? They should fire the idiot who talked about "where are John Wilkes Boothe, Lee Harvey Oswald and John Hinkley when you need them"?? Irresponsible for this paper to continue employing this guy.

How 'bout The Sun?
The Sun, The Times, the Telegraph, and every other paper in the world owned by Rupert Murdoch is endorsing Bush.

I can't seem to recall a time when US newspapers endorsed candidates in foreign races, especially as a routine practice. Well, perhaps excluding the New York Times.

They are endorcing the lovely miss Jane Addison of Surrey. The 172 cm, 60 kg blone bombshell enjoys windsurfing and club-hopping. She's looking for an intelligent bloke with a warm smile and a cute bum.

I never thought I'd see the day when yours truly actually agreed with the Daily Mail on something. I'm staggered!
The Financial Times (25/10) editorial said Kerry is a better choice for US President.

The Times has always had an independent editorial team. I am a regular reader- it seems to endorse Kerry along with most of columnists. Scotland's largest newspaper, the Daily Record endorsed Kerry in June. And yes, the Daily Mail- the most right wing publication in Britain has endorsed Kerry, along with most of the front bench of the Conservative Party. There is also an unreliable source (and i mean unreliable source) that....
Margaret Thatcher endorses Kerry (allegedly)

The Daily Mail's editorial stance was anti-war, which might explain it.

What about
The Economist
? They had a very tortured, very qualified endorsement of Bush four years back. Plus, it's probably the only foreign publication that has anything like an audience in America.

The Economist gave a cautious backing to Kerry.
