Welcome !
It's back ! In 2009, a failed attempt stopped after some rounds... I want to start a fair contest.

In order to limit partisan hacking and in order to have something more interesting and not too long, here is how it will be organized:
- 3 rounds during which we'll eliminate 4 senators, 2 Dems and 2 GOP;
- 19 rounds during which we'll eliminate 2 senators, either 2 Dems or 2 GOP or 1 GOP-1 Dem;
so that we'll have 20 GOP and 30 Dems left.

Then,
- 20 rounds during which we'll eliminate 2 senators (one round with usual rule, one round with special rule, and so on, and so on);
- 9 rounds during which we'll eliminate 1 senator (one round with usual rule and free vote, one round with special rule, and so on, and so on).

As in reality, the 2 Independents will be gathered with the Dems.

Cochran

2 Dems:
Byrd
Franken

(oh, and in our first tie, as there wasn't any previous vote, of course, I decided, in a dictatorial way, that Sessions is out over Bunnings: my vote counts twice, as I'm the President of this survivor Wink)
(hopefully, now, there won't be another tie not broken by my first rule any more)
